The Sideline Series Cheer Camp | Featuring PHS Cheer

This cheer camp is OPEN TO EVERYONE incoming grades 1-8. You do not have to be registered for the fall sideline season to participate in this camp.

Get ready for a few days full of spirit, laughter, and Seahawks pride! Whether your athlete is brand new to cheer or has years of experience, this camp is designed for all ages and skill levels. Come learn, grow, and have fun in a positive environment where every cheerleader belongs.

This exciting camp features instruction by Peninsula High School Head Cheer Coach Jonny and Peninsula High School cheerleaders, giving younger athletes the opportunity to connect with the high school program, learn from experienced role models, and become part of the larger Seahawks cheer family.

Campers will discover what it’s like to be a sideline cheerleader through game day cheers, jumps, basic stunting, megaphone and sign techniques, and crowd leadership skills. They’ll experience the excitement of a game day atmosphere while building confidence and creating memories that will last long after camp ends.

Most importantly, this camp is about community. It’s about high school athletes pouring into the next generation, younger cheerleaders finding role models to look up to, and friendships being formed across grade levels. Whether you come with your best friend or arrive knowing no one at all, you’ll leave with new skills, new connections, and a stronger sense of belonging within the Seahawks community.

What To Wear:

Please come wearing athletic shorts, comfortable shirt, hair up, all jewelry removed and wearing cheer shoes for stunting. Cheer shoes can be purchased for cheap on Amazon.

What To Bring:

CHEER POMS – If you have a pair of cheerleading poms please bring them. If you ordered a pair for this fall sideline season, we will have them available for pickup at the first day of camp. If you don’t have either, you can opt in to purchase a pair of temporary poms through the registration for $5.

WATER – This camp is in the heat of the summer. Please always bring a full water bottle with you.

7 | 8 Grade UCA Summer Camp (Day Only)

For our 7th and 8th grade athletes we are excited to present a multi-day summer cheer camp opportunity run by the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA).

Dates: JULY 21st – 24th, 2026

Location: University Of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA

Grades: 7 & 8

Description: This camp is an exhilarating traditional summer cheer camp hosted by the University of Puget Sound. It offers a fantastic opportunity for team bonding, creating unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. Athletes will have the chance to learn exciting sideline material, learn stunting, and compete against other middle school squads in a friendly environment. This vibrant experience provides an abundance of sideline cheer material, ensuring squads will leave as a united team, ready to perform seamlessly alongside Peninsula High School Cheer, who will also be attending this inspiring camp this year.

COST FOR 2026 UCA SUMMER CAMP

OUR SEAHAWKS YOUTH CHEER COACH WILL BE BOOKING AS A TEAM FOR EVERYONE. SO PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO REGISTER THROUGH THE UCA CAMP SEPARATELY. Athletes will need to register with us through OUR form to submit your intention to attend camp with us and secure a spot. SPOTS ARE LIMITED. We will send you instructions on how to register for UCA summer camp with us after we have a roster of who is attending.

NOTE: These listed prices are based upon a certain amount of athletes attending. This price can change. A 10:1 athlete to coach ratio is required.

  • $307 ESTIMATED DAYTIME ONLY CAMP REGISTRATION (each athlete will need to provide daily transportation for themselves to and from) — This cost is not paid directly to Seahawks Youth Cheer. UCA summer camp will provide a payment portal for you later for this cost.
  • Plus $24 additional to help cover the cost of the coach volunteers (this cost is added onto the UCA tuition fee paid directly through the UCA camp portal)

AND

  • POMS AND BOWS are needed and will be received early from your athletes’ Sideline Cheer uniform order — This cost is paid directly through our Varsity Cheer sideline uniform order in early May.
  • CAMP UNIFORMS are a mainstay of cheer camp to show off and designate your squad. This cost will be a around $175 additional. This will be paid directly to Seahawks Youth Cheer through a registration link that we will send out in email later.
